We also recognized the two and a half million Americans who have been killed or wounded in service; in larger conflicts such as WWII, Vietnam, and Afghanistan; in smaller actions such as Somalia, Panama, and Beirut; and during peacetime accidents. ![]() A Tribute To Our Fallen Heroes From All Wars
General Colin Powell delivered a tribute to the fallen service members who have defended America throughout its history, honoring their sacrifice, dedication to country, and commitment to duty. As we remember their sacrifice, we should also not forget the veterans who are returning home - many of them wounded - and in need of support. Please visit our list of employment resources to learn how to help our veterans return to work.
