The Pat Tillman Foundation
The Pat Tillman Foundation supplies an annual scholarship applicable to service members and their children who are enrolled in a secondary education institution in the United States. The Tillman Military Scholar program’s scholarships are set to cover tuition, fees and other cares like housing.

Fallen Warrior Scholarship Fund
The Patriot Guard Riders sponsor the Fallen Warrior scholarship for all spouses and family of those that were lost in combat. The annual award provides $2,000 per year for tuition, books and supplies. It is not automatically renewed, but applicants may reapply for up to four years.

The Mark Cuban Foundation’s Fallen Patriot Fund
The Mark Cuban Foundation’s Fallen Patriot Fund is an annual scholarship fund for spouses and children of those service members who were wounded or died during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund
Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund provides financial assistance and college grants to the spouses and children of service members who died during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.

Marine Corps Scholarship Fund
The Marine Corps Scholarship Fund provides secondary education for the children of an U.S. Marine up to $30,000.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund
Freedom Alliance’s annual scholarship fund is set up for the sons and daughters of service members who have been killed or permanently disabled in an operational mission or accident.

Society of the First Infantry Division
The Huebner Scholarships of the Society of the First Infantry Division are available to the children and grandchildren of soldiers in the United States Army’s First Division who are high school seniors up to $1,000 per year.

Scholarships Programs of the Fisher House Foundation
The Scholarships Programs of the Fisher House Foundation offers three programs; one for the children of service members, one for the spouses and the Heroes Legacy, which is open to the children of fallen soldiers.

MOAA American Patriot Scholarship
The Military Officers Association of America American Patriot Scholarship is open to any child of a service member that died during active duty. Available funds are dependent upon amounts raised each year.

Hope for the Warriors
Hope for the Warriors’ scholarship is for the spouses of service members who are wounded or killed in active duty. It provides college scholarships up to $20,000 for four years to help with tuition, books and other materials.

National Military Family Association
Annual scholarship for the spouse of active service members for GED, vocational, certification or post-secondary education engaged in full-time, part-time, in-class or online education.

ThanksUSA.org
ThanksUSA is non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) effort to mobilize Americans of all ages to ”thank” the men and women of the United States armed forces.  It provides college scholarships of up to $5,000 per year for the children and spouses of our troops.  A national
treasure hunt to raise awareness and funds for the scholarship program in an educational way debuted on May 29, 2006, offering great family-oriented prizes.

Operation Education – University of Idaho
The university has launched the Operation Education Scholarship, a program designed to help veterans severely and permanently wounded as a result of service since Sept. 11, 2001. The spouses of wounded veterans also will be eligible for the scholarship. It is the first such program in the nation.
