The 60th Annual George Foster Peabody Awards presentation was held
May 1, 2001 at the Waldorf-Astoria, New York.
Along with "School Sleuth" other winners included "The Sopranos",
"West Wing", "Malcolm in the Middle" and "The Daily Show".




The George Foster Peabody Awards recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by radio and television stations, cable enterprises, networks, producing organizations and individuals. More than 1,000 entries have been received in each of the past nine years, from more than 30 countries. There are 34 Peabody Award winners this year.
