Attention Journalism Students:
Here's your chance to write for The Moyers Blog!
Bill Moyers Journal is seeking original reporting from journalism students for publication on The Moyers Blog. Student journalists will hold a regular
beat on The Moyers Blog and cover our regular topics of interest, including politics, arts and culture, the media, the economy and social issues.
We also
encourage students to cover the subjects they feel passionate about. The Moyers Blog will showcase students' work to a national audience, and will allow them to
receive and respond to reader reaction.
Assignments:
Get the latest Moyers Blog assignment, by visiting our Assignments page, or email MoyersBlog@thirteen.org with the subject "Jstudents - assignments" and we'll add you to our mailing list.
Or, if you have a certain subject you are passionate about, or a certain piece of writing you are especially proud of, submit it to us for our review.
Submissions:
Each submission should be be no more than 400 words in length, and all facts, figures and quotes should be thoroughly sourced.

Note that not all submisssions will be published; only the articles that meet the standards of The Moyers Blog will be published on the site. While there is no
monetary compensation for published articles, an autographed copy of Bill Moyers book Moyers on America: A Journalist and His Times will be given to
published students.
