It was called the WILD CAVE TOUR...and they meant it!
I have a passion for national parks and my goal in life is too see all of them before I die! With that, for my birthday this year we went to 3 different parks, but the one I want to tell you about it Mammoth Cave!
It was absolutely amazing to be standing, crawling, climbing, hiking and just enjoying the landscape around us while being challenged physically and mentally! There were a couple times when I really thought like, I can't do this...but I pushed through with the help of 2 pretty awesome tour guides and some adventurous friends!
If tight spaces bother you, this is NOT for you. There's a requirement of 42' hips or smaller, or else you could get stuck!
I'm not the smallest girl in the world, and yes, this inch requirement scared me. I wanted to badly to conquer this cave, but based on reviews I had I really questioned whether I could complete the tour or not.
All I can say is, with each obstacle we completed I felt that much more confident in myself and truly, I can do anything. I walked out of there knowing that pushing my limits has some pretty awesome, and beautiful rewards.
