Market Monitor for April 27 - John Hughes

posted by Jaime Danielson, Web Producer at 6:53 PM on 04/27/07

Market Monitor Title GraphicOn tonight's program, Anchor Paul Kangas gets some Wall Street insight from "Market Monitor" John Hughes, President of Quantum Capital Management. Before he gets to his stock picks, Hughes offers his definition of inflation and explains why he thinks the Fed will eventually have to maneuver the decline of the dollar. Hughes also plays down the Dow's rise above 13,000, saying he focuses on stocks... not market index milestones.

What do you think of Hughes' emphasis on the "Austrian" definition of inflation? And, have you gotten caught up in the Dow's record run? Or, like Hughes, have you found a way to focus on individual issues.
