Daily Biz Title GraphicThere's an offer on the table that could change business news as we know it. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch wants to add Dow Jones Corp. to his stable of companies. Murdoch's NewsCorp bid $5 billion, or $60 a share, for Dow Jones today. The family that controls most of Dow Jones stock says its weighing the bid. Murdoch has long planned to launch a business news cable television channel this year, and analysts say picking up the parent of the Wall Street Journal could go a long way to boosting those plans. Scott Gurvey is following the story in New York City.
