As a Washington, DC based correspondent, Stephanie specializes in the intersection of politics and business. She has covered in-depth the accounting scandals at Enron, Worldcom, Qwest, and the corporate reforms that resulted. She also provided Nightly Business Report with extensive coverage of the landmark Microsoft anti-trust trial, the 1996 Telecommunications Act, and the “global” tobacco settlement.

In 2005, Stephanie received a national Emmy award for her domestic coverage of Chinese oil firm CNOOC’s bid to buy U.S. based Unocal. Prior to joining Nightly Business Report, Stephanie was a producer for CNBC. She began her television career as a producer for "The Insiders with Jack Anderson," which aired on the Financial News Network. Stephanie holds a BA in Communication from George Mason University.
