Wendie is the Managing Editor of Nightly Business Report and is responsible for the program's content and management. She is a National Emmy Award-Winning journalist with more than 25 years of extensive news production and management experience, including time spent producing and supervising daily newscasts in four major television markets.
Wendie was honored with a National Emmy Award for Outstanding Extended Coverage of a Business Story for her efforts as Senior Producer of NBR's Special Series -- "China's Century of Change" -- which chronicled China's emergence as an international economic power. She has also won three local Emmy Awards for Best Newscast, Best Investigative Reporting, and Best Public Affairs Programming. In 1990, Wendie received the Radio & Television News Directors Association Award for Best News Series/Documentary.
Wendie holds a Master of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University and a B.S. degree in Journalism, with a minor in Marketing, from the University of Florida.
