DAN GRECH is the reporter assigned to NBR's "Your Mind and Your Money" series.
You have probably heard Dan's voice on public radio's Marketplace. While at Marketplace, Dan served as the Americas Desk reporter, covering Latin American business and the Hispanic economy. Currently, Dan is teaching "The New Audio Age of Journalism" at Princeton University. Dan also co-created, co-hosted, and co-produced Under the Sun, a public radio show airing on 91.3 FM WLRN, South Florida's NPR affiliate.
Earlier in his career, Dan worked as a print journalist. He reported for Miami Herald and interned at The Boston Globe and The Washington Post. While at the Miami Herald, Dan helped report on the return of Elian Gonzalez to Cuba, coverage that was later awarded a Pulitzer Prize. Dan was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study media ethics in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2003. He also earned a Masters degree in Spanish-language journalism and covered Argentina for The Miami Herald.
When Dan isn't working as a journalist or teacher, he performs in an improv comedy troupe in Miami.
