Mark Landsman

Mark has been Nightly Business Report's Assignment Manager for ten years. He is a veteran broadcast news journalist and has a background in local, national, and international news. His career includes more than 25 years at NBC News, in such posts as National TV News Correspondent; Director Midwest News, based in Chicago; Director NBC Worldwide News Gathering at New York headquarters; Director NBC News Europe, the Middle East and Africa out of London; and Special Events Producer back in New York.

Mark's career highlights include coverage of many historic events, including the civil rights movement; Watergate; Presidential elections; the election of two Popes -- John Paul I and John Paul II; summit meetings of world leaders; and the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

He is a graduate of Long Island University. In addition to his NBR duties, he is also an Adjunct Journalism Professor at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
