PBS' Nightly Business Report Goes Triple Platinum at 2009 WorldFest-Houston

NBR Wins Multiple "Remi" Awards for the
9th Consecutive Year

Miami, FL (April 27, 2009) -- For the ninth consecutive year, Nightly Business Report took home honors at the 42nd Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. WorldFest is the oldest independent film and video festival in the world and has recognized excellence in the field since 1961. Nightly Business Report came away with three Platinum "Remi" awards (the highest honor in the festival's regular awards) in three separate categories: Analysis/Background of a Single Current News Story, Continuing News Story Coverage and Education. Its impressive showing at the World-Fest-Houston comes on the heels of its 30th anniversary, celebrated on January 22, 2009.
