NBR Through the Years Slide Show

On January 22, 1979, Nightly Business Report premiered as a 15 minute business news broadcast on WPBT in South Florida. Anchors Linda O'Bryon and Merwin Sigale read the news. Paul Kangas, a former stockbroker, presented market statistics in the "Stocks in the News" segment. The program quickly became a trusted source of business and financial news and analysis broadcast on PBS stations across the nation. 30 years later, NBR maintains that reputation.
