Center for Family Enterprises

The Center for Family Enterprises is part of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. The center's focus "is on teaching, research and case writing about family business strategy, family business governance, family business succession, entrepreneurship in the family business, family foundations, family offices and family business culture."

Family Business Magazine

Family Business Magazine calls itself "The Guide for Family Companies." Its website offers articles, newsletters, an adviser directory, and more.

Family Firm Institute (FFI)

FFI bills itself as "The International body for Family Business Professionals." The professional association advises family businesses and also conducts research on family business and family wealth.

This 2003 report is copyrighted by The Economic History Society and was published by the Cambridge University Press. It includes a discussion of the nature and structure, development, and role of family firms.

UMass Amherst Family Business Center (FBC)

The FBC "assists family companies to recognize common problems and find solutions to their unique challenges."
