Howard University

This links to Howard University's Institute for Entrepreneurship Leadership & Innovation. The ELI Institute offers business education classes for Howard University students and other minority stakeholders.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

The IRS is the division of the U.S. Department of Treasury that collects taxes and enforces tax law. This links to the section of the IRS website called, "Small Business and Self-Employed One-Stop Resource."

Kauffman Foundation

The Kauffman Foundation is dedicated to "advancing entrepreneurship and improving the education of children and youth." The foundation's website contains research on entrepreneurship as well as information about grants and other tools for entrepreneurs.

SCORE

SCORE is "a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide." This links to the section of the SCORE website that offers resources for minority entrepreneurs.

Small Business Administration (SBA)

The SBA is an independent federal agency that "helps Americans start, build and grow businesses." This links to the "Small Business Planner" section of the SBA website, which offers step-by-step information about planning, starting, managing, and exiting a business.

Stanford University

This links to Stanford's "Educators Corner" of entrepreneurship education resources. The site contains video clips of interviews with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders as well as case studies and information about conferences.

Urban Entrepreneur Partnership (UEP)

UEP is public-private initiative launched by the White House in 2004. It is designed to foster entrepreneurship and business development in uderserved urban areas. It is a partnership of the National Urban League, the Kauffman Foundation, and the Business Roundtable.
