Honda Motor

This links to information about Honda's walking assist robot, which is profiled in Part 2 of Lucy Craft's "Robo Revolution" series.

Information and Robot Technology Research Initiative (IRT)

IRT is a Japanese government-led project based at the University of Tokyo. Its purpose is to bring together major industrial partners like Toyota and Panasonic to develop robot technology to help tackle the problems facing Japanese society.

Japan Robot Association (JARA)

JARA offers information about robotics research in Japan as well as statistics about the production of robot technologies by its member firms."

OC Robotics

OC Robotics is a UK-based "manufacturer of snake-arm robots for restricted access applications or confined spaces." The firm's managing director, Rob Buckingham, is interviewed in Lucy Craft's series.

Robotics Online

Robotics Online is a service of the US-based Robotic Industries Association (RIA). The website offers news and information about industrial robotics. It also offers product, company, and service information.

Technical Committee for Service Robots

The Technical Committee for Service robots is part of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. The committee's website offers information and news about different robot applications and technologies.

TMSUK

TMSUK is a Japanese firm developing "practical robotic solutions." This links to a page of the TMSUK webpage offering press releases about the company's products as well as a "History of Robotic Development."

The University of Tokyo

This links to information about the robot-related research activities at The University of Tokyo. Roboticists at the school are working on assistive humanoid robots to work indoors and outdoors.
