In the Fall of 2008, Nightly Business Report sent Chicago bureau chief Diane Eastabrook, Miami videojournalist Mike Malanga, and Chicago field producer Hart Billings to explore the Mississippi River. The result: "The Mississippi" -- a 3 part series examining the great river's continuing impact on the U.S. economy.
