Sarbanes-Oxley: Opportunity Knocks

While many American companies complain that Sarbanes-Oxley hinders business, one group is enjoying benefits from the legislation -- accountants. In this report from the NBR Special "Sarbanes-Oxley: Five Years Later," Midwest Bureau Chief Diane Eastabrook examines the rising demand for CPAs and auditors.

According to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the number of students earning degrees in accounting is on the rise. The chart below illustrates this data.
