Grassley on Opposing the Public Option
Wednesday, October 14, 2009NBR's Darren Gersh interviewed Senator Chuck Grassley, ranking Republican member of the Senate Finance Committee, earlier today. The two discussed health care reform legislation, which is now headed to debate in the full Senate. In the interview, Grassley says Republicans want to make sure a "public option" does not make it into the final legislation. An edited version of the interview airs in tonight's program.
