I am currently working on a project which involves a comparison of U.S.
and Russian secondary schools. I would really appreciate any feedback
from any interested Russians on what they perceive to have been the
strengths and weaknesses of their secondary school education (no limit
on when or where they attended school). I am especially interested in
what they felt about how history was and is taught at the secondary
level. Also, who are their 'historical heros' and 'anti-heros' in
Russian history. I would really appreciate any observations that would
be sent to my e-mail address: kluedke@nconnect.net or via any
conversation in this chat room.Thank you!
I have done volunteer teaching in Russian secondary schools. The
schools were excellent, the experience was excellent, and I loved the
time there.Jerry Stauffer
