Women in general have come a long way since the Suffrage Movement...but nurses haven't. The present nursing shortage crisis is a direct result of the way nurses are being treated in the bureaucratic system called health care. The present critical need for more nurses is a window of opportunity for a few brave hearts to step up to the plate and hit a few verbal "home runs."
