Hi Parents~ The website that was mentioned here before is no longer working. Try searching for websites that will allow you to connect with other parents to form play groups.

Well I know that it is hard to find that fine line for parents between what is and is not good for your child on the net. I am a teacher and I found a site that I wanted to use with my kids in the classroom and you might like to check it out for at home also. It is a site that allows your child to have fun while learning, AND they can even win things including SCHOLARSHIPS. It looked good to me and I wanted to share it with you all. Here's the link:www.itpaystolearn.com/default.asp?ref_id=ABE096Thanks for taking a look.

a helpful, short book to explain why kids bite or have tantrums and a whole bunch of other stuff is called, Parenting Power in the Early Years. Its on amazon. There's a part about what are the right activities and toys for babies, toddlers, and preschool age kids. It's very enjoyable reading too. The writer is funny and tells stories about herself and her kids. I can relate to this book! It helped to see why kids do some of the behaviors they do so I can be a better parent.
