My 4 year old kid is having problems of discipline at the child care center. He has been hitting other kids. I have talked to him and explained the consequences of his behavior. He seems to understand that hitting is not correct, but he still keeps doing it. The people at the child care center want to take Him out fo the program. I dont want this to happend. Please help me. His mom & me have been separated for almost three years.

We were going "insane" around our house. Our two children, Ezra (6 years old) and Lenny (7 years old), couldn't even be in the same room, together, without hitting, biting, kicking each other. It was also happening at school. (Unfortunately, they had the same lunch period and recess--although they were in different home rooms.) Our neighbor is a guidance counselor at a different school. She knew we were having "self control" problems. She pointed us towards a special website (WeBehave.Com) and suggested that we get a starter behavior activity program, Behavior Beasts and some incentive coupons from that site. (I can't think of the name, but it was on the same page.)Well, I could just kiss my neighbor. The kids are much more in control of themselves...no more aggressive behavior, and they actually seem to like each other, now. At least they are respecting each other's space!
