After divorcing, my ex-husband and I have been trying to find the right
visitation schedule to make everyone comfortable. We have hit upon a
good balance but lately my 6-year-old has been having problems
separating from me. She cries and wants to stay with me and I'm not
sure how to respond. Her dad (and sisters) tell me that she's fine
once they get over to his house but it's that initial separation that's
so hard. She has always been a worrier and is the emotional one of my
three daughters. She says she worries about me being alone. Does
anyone one have similar experiences or some advice on what may help?
I'd appreciate it!!
