My six year old wets her bed almost every night. This is very upsetting to her eventhough we keep telling her is OK to have accidents. She sleeps very heavily so she doesn't wake up at all. We make her go to the bathroom before going to bed, but she has had accidents as early as 1:00 a.m. We don't know what to do. I'm ready to try the training device with alarm to attach to her underwear, I just can't find it. Anyone has any idea where to find it, or even any suggestions for this problem?

Have you talked all this over with your pediatrician to rule out any medical causes? He or she may have some better ideas for you too!

My wife created a "map" for our son when he was wetting the bed.(use a large poster sized colored paper) If he woke up dry he got to stick a sticker on the map until he reached the end of the road and was waking up dry all the time. To get him started on the right foot we would get him up before we went to bed for a trip to the washroom. It took a while and we didn't pressure him, I think that was the most important. he thought picking out new stickers that Mommy kept well stocked was the best part.
