Topic: Help! There isn't a snap, button, or zipper this child can't undo!

Our 2 year old daughter won't stay dressed. There isn't a snap, button, or zipper that she can't undo. She even wakes from her nap & completely undresses, including her diaper, occassionally mashing "poo" everywhere. At two, discipline seems ineffective. Any other suggestions?

Although this doesn't sound very helpful, my advice would be to just wait it out. I have 3 daughters and they ALL went through that stage. With the first one we made such a big deal about trying to get her clothes back on and keep them on that she started to enjoy the game and the attention. With the second and third we just made sure they understood that they couldn't go out of the house (and that meant to fun things like the playground or friends' houses) with no clothes on. They both lost the desire to take clothes off after a few months and in the meantime we just made sure we were prepared to clean up the bed and any accidents along the way. One thing that seemed to help our third daughter was to let her pick out her 'favorite' clothes to wear each day and then she had more of a reason to stay dressed.
