As the mother of a picky eater I can tell you it's not particularly fun to serve chicken nuggets every night of the week. I'd love to hear from you about some food that work well with your picky eater. My daughter will not eat meat other than chicken nuggets and fish sticks (do they count as meat?). Any ideas would be appreciated.

We have a picky eater too. (chicken fingers are also a favorite) We try to mix things up, like pancakes and sausages for dinner once in a while. Cream of mushroom soup jazzes up rice and seems to be acceptable for Mr.Picky. I also find that if we use cookie cutters and cut the chicken, steak, real fish (not fish sticks) or any other meat, in interesting shapes he finds it more appealing. And any thing he can eat wth his fingers, especially if it can be dipped in a sauce (or even ketchup) It's not fool proof, trust me we have had lots of unsettled meals, but its a start. Another favorite is homemade mini meatloaf, just cook them in muffin tins. (even better if you top with a combination of ketchup and brown sugar for baking........what kid doesn't have a sweet tooth?) Oh, and let them help cook, wash a potoatoe, cut a mushroom whatever. If you have any recipes I'd love to hear them!!
