Unveiling the PBS NewsHour

PBS NewsHour
The PBS NewsHour will launch on Dec. 7 along with a new redesigned homepage and transcript pages. Stations will need to change any NewsHour graphics on their sites to the new logo. Details to come soon but contact Anna with immediate concerns.

MODULES AND DOWNLOADS

PBS NewsHour Headlines Modules
The code to have automatically updated NewsHour headlines or headlines and story leads for your Web site.

NewsHour Video Module
Our modules launch into the Flash-based News and Public Affairs video player.

NewsHour EXTRA for Students & Teachers
Quality educational resources based on current issues and events. Features for students and teachers and a headlines module for local stations.

NewsHour Podcasting
The NewsHour offers a nightly podcast of selected broadcast segments. Stations may co-brand the NewsHour podcast as a local/national production and may either link to the NewsHour podcast page or use the NewsHour podcast module to display automatically updated links to NewsHour audio.

NewsHour RSS Feeds
The NewsHour sends out RSS feeds for the top stories every weeknight. Local stations can link to our RSS subscription page or include our feeds alongside our PBS, NPR or local feeds.

Create RSS or Podcast Feed

This form allows stations to create RSS feeds and podcasts of locally produced content.

By The People
These materials are resources for PBS stations and their convening partners conducting Citizen Deliberations in the 12 communities participating in Dialogues in Democracy.

NewsHour on the Radio
