The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its shortlist of 15 films in the documentary feature category for the 2012 Academy Awards. KPBS reports the complete list, which includes “If a Tree Falls” by Marshall Curry, a film featured on PBS’s POV and PBS NewsHour’s Economist Film Project.
