Margaret Yocom : What a great pleasure to hear Michael reading one of my favorite poems of his. Thank you for including his fine work on the Arts Beat site. I'm looking forward to his book! Prof. Margaret Yocom, George Mason University.

Jennifer : A stunning poem! Full of lyric lushness, intellectual daring, and emotional commitment--- and reserve.

John : "White Song" is such a beautiful poem. I love its rhythm and play with line. Think it over, though: You should go to law school so you can learn how argue over a semicolon in a document, or med school so you can learn how to push drugs on patients who don't need it. Who cares if you enrich American culture with the beauty of your work?
