Conversation: Josh Neufeld Revisits Katrina

The story of Katrina has been told many times, in many different ways. On this, the 4th anniversary of the hurricane and flooding, it's being told once again, this time as a graphic novel called 'A.D.: New Orleans After the Deluge.' The book tracks the lives of New Orleans residents as they fled or remained, and then struggled to cope in the aftermath of the devastation of the city. Its author is Josh Neufeld, who joined me on the phone from his home in Brooklyn:

Molly : Jerry, I found this graphic novel several months ago and really enjoyed it. It gives a different perspective tho the whole story of Katrina and the aftermath.

jlt : Fine interview > interesting artist. Scanning the captured images revealed "A Confederacy of Dunces" on Mr. Neufeld's shelves. Right on target, sir. I'll look for this book soon.
