Popbiz : It's nice to see culture, especially pop culture, getting its rightful place on the News Hour. Keep up the good work!

jupiter1 : There's a new depth of quality to the digitally enhanced recordings. The richness of some of the chords; the nuances of some of the flourishes; the greater vocal character, is all there to be further appreciated. The fluidity of the momentum, or the elegant lyrical qualites of even their early songs, comes increasingly to life. The vibrancy, vitality and primitive charm of the early songs is more apparent and the all-round sophisication and musical intelligence of the middle and later material is revealed at a more subtle level. There's now just more musical life in these songs to appreciate: simple to sophisticated, vital to refective, primitive to poetical: transcendent. Turn it on and turn it up: there's more to enjoy.

Pygar : "Beatles" the brand. "The Beatles: Rock Band" the video game = Karaoke + the old Saturday morning cartoon; NOT Yellow Submarine, though the Meanies are just as Blue. Re-eng'd recordings, cleaned-up, "note by note". No longer sounds like what we grew-up with, screeching out of our cheap, poor-quality, AM car radios. Quite possibly no longer recognizable. "...the Beatles thing...", referring to the new vid-game. "Now anyone can be a Beatle!". All thanks for George Martin's kid, "The next natural step.". Good argument for crib-death. Can't blame this one on Yoko; or can we? ...time to die
