On Wednesday's PBS NewsHour, we profile international salsa star Ruben Blades, who after spending five years as a cabinet minister in Panama, has made a return to music. At 61, Blades is now back living in New York with his wife, Luba Mason, a jazz singer. We recently caught up with them at the famous Blue Note Jazz Club.

Below you can watch an extended interview with Blades, as well as clips of Mason and him performing. You can also find out more about the musicians at their Web sites, RubenBlades.com and LubaMason.com.
