Here's a selection of art and culture reports from local public broadcasting stations and national producers:

- In Dallas, the public is voting online for art that will appear on the street. KERA reports that seven artists will get to display their art along Henderson Ave., and the top three will earn a cash prize. "Not only are we getting the art out to be seen, but we're also influencing the culture of this area. So it really becomes this win, win, win scenario," said Scott Trent, the organizer of the Henderson Art Project. The winning art will be installed on March 20.

- The 'Next Star' Talent Competition in San Diego is in search of the next big name in classical music, according to KPBS. With the competition now down to three finalists, the winner will play as a soloist in concert with Orchestra Nova. Final votes can be cast online until Thursday.

- "Every single person in the world has a story about a cemetery," says Hop Litzwire, director of, Silent Storytellers, a new documentary on Arkansas Educational Television Network. Litzwire wants to demystify graveyards by looking at the cultural, artistic and personal stories inspired by and contained within these overlooked (and overgrown) sites. "Silent Storytellers" premiers on March 11 on AETN.

- The Academy Awards will be presented this Sunday and director Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" is up for eight statues. Studio 360 talked with Tarantino about his influences.

Be sure to check out the bonus tracks posted on Studio 360's site about Tarantino's favorite moment in his cult classic "Pulp Fiction."
