'Knuffle Bunny,' a Favorite Kids' Picture Book, Comes To Life Onstage

In "Knuffle Bunny: a Cautionary Tale," a simple trip to the laundromat gone awry provides plenty of dramatic and comedic material for a 31-page picture book. But is it enough to support a 45-minute musical? That was the challenge for author, illustrator, and now playwright, "Mo Willems":http://www.mowillems.com/, whose very popular children's book has just been transformed into a stage performance at the Kennedy Center. Willems is the author and illustrator of nearly 40 children's titles, all published since 2003.
