International pop star Sting is in the midst of a world tour with his band.

This summer, that means something special -- a 45-piece band made up from members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, who have been helping him re-create his past hits with a very different sound. He has a new album called "Symphonicities."

Friday on the NewsHour, Jeffrey Brown talks to Sting about moving from pop to classical and about the challenge and pleasure of re-invention.
