The World According to Kal

The work of Kevin "Kal" Kallaugher, the longtime editorial cartoonist for the "Economist":http://www.economist.com/, is the subject of an exhibit at the "Cartoon Art Museum":http://cartoonart.org/ in San Francisco. This exhibition, "Drawn From The Economist: The Editorial Art of KAL," features more than 40 of Kal's favorite cartoons from his 30 years at the London-based weekly magazine, during which he has published approximately 3,000 cartoons, including 120 covers. **Art Beat talked to Kal during his visit to museum about his work and about what makes for a good cartoon:**
