"Tree of Life," the latest film by American auteur Terrence Malick, was awarded the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, via The New York Times. Actress Kirsten Dunst ("Melancholia"), actor Jean Durjardin ("The Artist") and director Nicolas Winding Refn ("Drive") were also honored.
