Here are four arts and culture stories from public broadcasting partners around the nation.

KERA's Art&Seek asks, "Where Are the Arts Managers?"

"The past two years, so many arts groups in North Texas have had to find new directors, managing directors and CEOs that people have wondered if there was something wrong -- with the Arts District? With Dallas in general? KERA's Jerome Weeks reports it's not an Arts District problem, not a North Texas problem. It's an arts problem."

From KPBS in San Diego, a report about the restoration of the Chicano Park murals. Some of the original artists who painted the murals in the 1970s are painting them once again.

PBS' series "Off Book" continues with a look at the evolution of music online:

"As the 90s came to a close, the business of music began to change profoundly. New technology allowed artists to record and produce their own music and music videos, and the internet became a free-for-all distribution platform for musicians to promote themselves to audiences across the world. The result was a massive influx of artists onto the cultural scene, and audiences were left wondering how to sort through them all. In this episode we discuss these massive changes, and reveal how music blogs and websites have arisen as the new arbiters of quality."
