Katherine Larson's poetry melds her love for language with her passion for scientific inquiry. "Poetry for me is a place of encounter," she says. "It's a space in which disparate elements can come into relation with each other." Larson won the 2010 Yale Younger Poets Prize and the 2012 Kate Tufts Discovery Award for her book "Radial Symmetry." She is also the recipient of a Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship.
