Here are four arts and culture videos from public broadcasting partners around the nation.

From "Live From Lincoln Center": "Music has shaped the life of violinist Itzhak Perlman in even stranger ways than most virtuoso musicians. He and his wife Toby tell the story from their teaching facility, the Perlman Music Program, in upstate New York. Originally broadcast on September 27, 2012 as part of the New York Philharmonic's Opening Gala."

It's a new season of "Austin City Limits." Watch Radiohead perform "Morning Mr. Magpie" from its ACL performance airing this weekend:

"Idea Channel" asks, "What do MP3s and Magic Spells Have in Common?"
"Both spells and music were born from a freely available folk culture, but are now sold as commercial goods. There are thousands of artists (and witches!) trying to figure out how to make a living in an age where their products can be infinitely copied. And with commercialization, the morality and legality of sharing these once open cultural products has become complicated."

It's been a really great week for filmmaker for filmmaker Natalia Almada. Her feature length documentary "El Velador" aired last week on PBS' "POV" and on Tuesday she was awarded a MacArthur "genius" grant. If you missed "El Velador," you can watch it here:
