Sharon Olds is one of the country's best-selling poets. Her books include "The Dead and the Living," winner of the 1983 National Book Critics Circle Award; "The Unswept Room," a finalist for the 2002 National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award; and "Stag's Leap," which was published this year. She teaches in the Graduate Creative Writing Program at New York University.

We recently visited her in New Hampshire, where she talked about how she approaches writing and about her most recent collection. We'll post Thursday's segment here later this evening. In the meantime, in the video below, you can watch her read several of her poems.
