The Manifest Hope:DC gallery space in Washington neighborhood Georgetown closed Monday night, the day before the inauguration of President Barack Obama. After three days of showcasing artists who supported grassroots efforts during the campaign, the organizers of the event, MoveOn.org, the Service Employees International Union and Obey Giant, threw a huge party to celebrate the art and, of course, the victory of their candidate.

Party hosts were Michael Stipe, Heather Graham and Rosario Dawson. Organizers, including artist and Obey Giant creator Shepard Fairey, spoke about the massive project and then turned the stage over to Santogold, De La Soul and Moby.
