    The third-most-senior member of the House of Representatives is in danger of losing his long-held seat Tuesday in New York’s 13th Congressional District primary contest. Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel was re-elected narrowly after being formally censured by Congress for ethics violations in 2010, but his chances are not looking as good this time around. His race also comes in something of an anti-incumbent climate. Outgoing House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his Virginia district recently, and longtime GOP Sen. Thad Cochran is struggling to hold on in Mississippi, where his fate will also be decided Tuesday. Continue reading
