RAGHIDA DERGHAM

Raghida Dergham is the New York-based senior diplomatic correspondent for Al-Hayat, a pan-Arab, Arabic language newspaper. She has worked for Al-Hayat since 1989, covering international political affairs. She also writes a weekly column, specializing in Middle East affairs. Ms. Dergham has interviewed more than 20 heads of state, covered US-Russian summit meeting and numerous Mideast peace conferences.
Ms. Dergham is a Lebanese-born American. She was educated at the State University of New York.
