Designer and architect Ali Tayar studied at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tayar teaches at Parsons School of Design in New York, and has also taught at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania, among others.

Tayar is the principal architect at Parallel Design Partnership in New York.
