OklahomaElectricity RatesResidential = 7 cents/kwh (National ranking: 40) Commerical = 6 cents/kwh Industrial = 4 cents/kwh(National ranking: 43) kwh = kilowatt hour1st ranking = highest rate in catagory DeregulationLegislation enacted in 1997 calls for deregulation in Oklahoma by July 2002. Last year, however, the state legislature defeated a bill that outlined the details of implementing deregulation.
