OregonElectricity RatesResidential = 6 cents/kwh (National ranking: 48) Commerical = 5 cents/kwh Industrial = 3 cents/kwh(National ranking: 47) kwh = kilowatt hour1st ranking = highest rate in catagory DeregulationOregon is set to deregulate its power industry for large commercial and industrial customers by Oct. 1, 2001. Those customers will be able to choose their power supplier. Residential and small commercial customers will not have a choice of retail provider, but will be able to choose among service package options from existing utilities.
