The Online Explainers take your question on the investigation.
The NewsHour's coverage of the Congressional Investigation.
The inside stories on the political fight behind the public investigation.
The investigation is big news in Washington, but how's it playing around the country.
A closer look at the issues really under scrutiny by the Congress.
According to critics, during the campaign to re-elect President Bill Clinton, many high-ranking members of the White House staff solicited money from visitors and organized fund-raising coffees. But problems do not lie within the walls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue alone. Undue and possibly illegal contributions appear to have come from the People's Republic of China and the large, international conglomerate the Lippo Group.
The first section of the Senate Government Affairs Committee's investigation will focus on the much-hyped "China Connection" and other possible campaign finance violations. Both Senator Thompson and Congressman Burton have asked the White House to help contact several donors and fund-raisers that have left the country.
