Do you want to see a better life for your children? Are you interestedI keeping more of the money that you earn? Would you like to save upsome money for a college degree or a better home? Do you believe thatour Federal government has become too large and inefficient ro serve ourneeds? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should be ecstaticabout the events of the last few days....

The theme of the Republican convention has been "restoring the Americandream". Although the economy in Wisconsin is robust, most Wisconsinitesbelieve that the American dream is harder to accomplish today than inthe recent past. With taxes eating up nearly half of their income,young moms going to work - when they might rather be at home - hasbecome a necessity. Two income homes have become commonplace - with onespouse working for the family and the other for the government. Inaddition, many parents are working 2 jobs each leading to the newphenomena of 4 income families - though how can a family function whenits heads are never home.

Dole-Kemp means freedom from this crushing burden of taxes. The 15 percentacross the board tax cut will provide over $1000 to the pockets of anaverage family. If that family has two children, you can add another$1000 in tax savings. Can you use an extra $2000 better than can thegovernment? WE, as Republicans, trust you to spend that money morewisely than the government. Democrats basically don't trust people withtheir money and want you to send it to Washington so that they can spendit on your behalf....
